As a highly sought-after leader, speaker and teacher who leads conferences, workshops and delivers direct talks from the pulpit, Pastor Steve positively impacts the lives of thousands of men, women and children. His captivating message style, although serious, is simplified and received with openness through his humor and personal testimony. Many have felt inspired and expressed gratitude and appreciation after hearing Pastor Steve.
Over 2 decades ago, Pastor Steve along with his wife, Lady Sylena, founded The House of Judah in Queens, New York. It has grown from a 12-member church to a thriving congregation of several hundred members. Each week, Pastor Steve and Lady Sylena host several ministry services and family workshops that offer biblical truths for application to daily life. In addition to biblical teaching, Pastor Steve’s goal is to infuse church and business in order to foster economic development amongst the congregants and the community.
The House of Judah is a non-denominational, multi-ethnic church currently located in West Sayville, NY.
Prior to establishing pastorship at The House of Judah, Pastor Steve served for seven years under the late Archbishop Wilbert S. McKinley of the Elim International Fellowship, Brooklyn NY.
He currently serves under the leadership of Bishop T.D. Jakes of the Potter's House, Dallas Texas via the P.H.I.P.A Ministry.
Two decades ago, God gave Reverend Mangum a vision to build a distinctive assembly space and resource center to cultivate economic and educational development. He is a certified John C. Maxwell leadership coach in which he teaches excellence, integrity and empowerment through workshops, seminars and conferences. He is committed to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and desires to win people to the Lord. Reverend Mangum has a special burden for families and is dedicated to empowering them to rise up and be all that God has destined for their lives.
Reverend Mangum has been married to his wife for over 20 years and they are the proud parents of David, Christine and Joshua.
